This live seminar with Dr. Joshua Bitting, Assistant Director of the Word on Fire Institute, will explore the fundamental principles that ground Catholic social doctrine: the dignity of the human person, the common good, solidarity, and subsidiarity.
It will highlight the life and witness of the cofounders of the Catholic Worker Movement, Peter Maurin and Dorothy Day, answering the question: How can evangelists bring to bear the Church’s rich heritage of proclaiming the Gospel of Christ in our present historical and cultural moment?
