On the bright side, one of the most enjoyable aspects is the abundance of sunny days and the beautiful mediterranean Sea is something I can never live without.
However, living on a small island also comes with its challenges. One of the main cons is the necessity of a plane for travel. Whether it's for a quick getaway, visiting family or business trips, you’re always dependent on flights. This can be inconvenient, costly and time-consuming, adding an extra layer of complexity to travel plans.
Additionally, the feeling of being confined can be overwhelming. The limited space and isolation from larger landmasses can sometimes make the island feel suffocating. Nowadays, we found ourselves sharing this small space with a lot of people hence more overcrowded public spaces, making it challenging to find quiet moments.
Despite these challenges, many people would never trade island life for anything. I just hope our island stays the paradise we have always known.
