Hello everyone....welcome to my channel today........ I'm going speak about a topic called....additive manufacturing...
Ist point I'll clarify that....whY I choosen Additive mfg.... today it's so important & also..confirm question that.......whether you're design or mfg dept.... r working in automobile r aerospace this question they ask you for sure......
then if so,....what are all the topics...... im going to discuss today.....yes
1. what is addictive mfg......how it works ?
2. How it's differ from conventional or present mfg......?
3. What are the Different martial used and advantages with latest application using am today.......these are all the topics im going to discuss today........

Ist we will understand the meaning of additive mfg.
Additive means addition.... mfg is the process of converting the raw material into finish products....$o....now u got the meaning right....yes...it's the addition of layers and converting the raw material into finish products
So now we will understand how it will work ....
It will work on 4 basic steps...
1. Creation of cad model by Design and analysis
In this step design engineer will design and analysis...the 3d model of the required product.......next step is
2. Conversation of 3d model into stl format....
In this step involves conversation of 3d data into stl format.....bez the 3d printing machine only read stl format data......so it's imp to convert.....
Here ......additive manufacturing machine
involves two system...one is metal injector and other one metal powder bed......
So....
3rd step....The machine will read the stl data....here the injector will have 3point support tool...... which will read x..y. And z coordination.....data....and send to
the metal n alloy powder mixture cabin...... which will mix and feed to the injector nozzle which is protected by inert gas sheild......
The 4th step is metal bed preparation
It involve ....the spreading of the metal powder layer by layer.... and by using laser beam..... it will melt and fuse powder together to create a required part....the melted part become fuse and come out with the finished product .....
The un-used powder is removed during post processing and is recycled for the next build.
3. So next u might be thinking tat
how am differ from the ordinary machining process.?????
In current machining process.... what v do.....is... we take a bulk material and start removing with maching operation....... like lathe....drilling...milling etc...and join by welding kind....
But additive mfg will take.....all in one step it will create 3d model at a time...with no additional joining like welding ..&. milling required so AM prefered more.......
4. What are all the material will be used for am?
Plastics - in tat thermoplastics more using
Metals
Ceramics
And biochemical will be used.....based on the application....
5. Next we will have a look what are all the applications.....in which area it's using widely
Am can widely used in aersoapae to create structural parts and also....
In automobile rear wings in formula cars
And also it can be used in helathcare devices also......
6. Let's we will look by using additive manufacturing what are the benifits ....
1. It's very accurate sand complex shapes can be produced easily
2. It's time saving technique bez all in ome operation.....with least material consumption
3. And weight savings .....
