Life is passing quickly as a vapor;
Soon our opportunities are past.
May God give us grace to work and labor.
Only what is done for Christ will last.

Use the opportunities for Jesus;
Just a little while our life shall be.
Time is short and life is very precious.
Soon we'll go into eternity.

Every day the Lord gives precious chances
To deny ourselves and do His will.
Soon the day is past as night advances.
Let us use the time that we have still.

Satan tries to rob us of our vision,
Burdening our hearts with earthly things.
In each moment make the right decision—
Choose to serve the Lord in everything.

What a happy life that we experience
If we use each moment for the best.
