Touching down on Tatooine.
Fort Sunfire was one of two major Galactic Empire Imperial military installations on Tatooine during the Galactic Civil War. The other was Fort Ironhand, near Anchorhead. The fort was located south of Bestine in the Desert Valley. Shortly after the Battle of Yavin, the base was destroyed by a Rebel agent as part of operations on Tatooine. The destruction of Fort Sunfire started a contained conflict between Captain Kosh and the local Rebels. The fort was rebuilt sometime before 3 ABY.
