This game has some of the most unique and beautiful graphics in the genre. Pair that with music by Andrew Hulshult and I couldn't resist buying the early access. After playing for a bit I again felt inspired to write something. The result is something like a suite of 3 different tracks outlining the 3 different emotions I experienced when playing and watching the game.
The first part is the classic "cyber"-sci fi esthetic with it's futuristic landscapes and tone. The second section draws on the science fiction romance of old, like a Jerry Goldsmith piece (in my mind, at least) from the 70's TV show or some such. The third act is all slaughter and brutality.
