Over the last week or so, multiple news stories have come out regarding PlayStation potentially returning to some of their old IPs. CEO Herman Hulst said in a recent interview with Famitsu that PlayStation would be looking to “leverage some of their legacy IP”.. A week later, video game insider Andy Robinson said on the VGC Podcast that he knew of a few “deep-cut, old-IP stuff” that PlayStation is currently working on. In today’s video I’ll be discussing what exact IPs I think or hope they may be referring to, and try to look into the future to predict what PlayStation franchises could soon be making a return.
