A Relaxing Rainy Camp in the New Zealand Mountains - with a roaring fire and the sound of rain

Описание: Join me for a relaxing adventurous rainy camp in the Arthur's Pass National Park in New Zealand. I love camping in the rain, and this was the perfect weather to enjoy the moody views and the sound of the rain on the tent and tarp. The walk in was very wet, with heavy rain falling for the duration of the walk in, as well as while I was setting up camp. It eased off to light rain as I gathered and chopped firewood for a warm campfire, and then the heavy rain returned as I enjoyed a beautiful meal around the fire. I was able to drift off to sleep to the sound of heavy rain falling on the tent, and to wake to the soft pitter patter of gentle morning rain. In between showers I explore the river and took in the scenery of the valley. I hope you will enjoy some time out in nature with me.
My dog Indi was not able to join me on this trip as dogs are not allowed in National Parks in New Zealand. I hope to have her out with me on the next trip.
