Why Viet Cong Called Australian SAS "Ma Rung" (Jungle Ghosts) — Never Saw Them, Only Found Bodies

Описание: Between 1966 and 1971, the Viet Cong gave Australian SAS soldiers a name that appears in captured enemy documents: "Ma Rung" - Jungle Ghosts. This wasn't allied propaganda. This was the enemy's genuine fear.
With never more than 120 operators in-country, Australian SAS patrols achieved a documented 100-to-1 kill ratio. They conducted over 1,200 combat operations, made contact 470 times, and lost only 7 men while accounting for over 700 confirmed enemy KIA.
This video reveals the documented tactics, verified operations, and captured VC intelligence reports that explain why enemy commanders explicitly ordered their soldiers to avoid contact with small Australian patrols. We explore the four-man patrol doctrine, the insertion techniques, the marksmanship standards, and the psychological warfare that made them the most feared allied unit in Vietnam.
All information comes from declassified military records, after-action reports, captured enemy documents, and official Australian Defence Force statistics.
