Alexander Ward in Escape the Night, Season 3

Описание: [Spoilers for Escape the Night seasons 3 and 4] Alexander Ward plays The Man With No Name, later revealed to be Benjamin. The man, an ostracized and persecuted 'freakshow' performer, was shot by hunters and subsequently transformed by a demon into The Collector, who appears in season 4. The Collector is also played by Alex Ward.

For my money, the 75 seconds of Benjamin's desperate flight from the hunters, his murder, and his transformation are an exquisitely succinct example of how talented an actor Alexander Ward is. There is a perfect throughline from his physical performance--running and staggering desperately through the darkness--to the pathos and despair in his eyes and shuddering breath in the character's final moments.

I'm glad the internet is now rife with examples of Alex Ward's work that explore the breadth and depth of his many talents, but I still find this clip to be a tiny, perfect gem.
