Meteorologisk institutt er tilstede på ishavsstasjonene Hopen, Bjørnøya og Jan Mayen med tilsammen 17 mann. Stillingene er engasjement på seks måneder.
Her overvåker vi været og de arktiske værsystemene med observasjoner og radiosonde.

The Norwegian Meteorological Institute is present in the Arctic. We have people at Hopen, Bjørnøya and Jan Mayen. The positions are held six months at a time.
At the Arctic stations we monitor the weather and the Arctic weather systems.
