Описание: The 4,049-foot La Soufrière volcano erupted on St. Vincent early Friday, sending a high cloud of ash bellowing above the island just hours after surrounding communities were ordered to evacuate. St. Lucia’s Prime Minister Allen Chastanet had already spoken to Vincentian counterpart Dr. Ralph Gonzalves pledging his assistance in the face of the disaster.
