Описание: Here is probably the rarest Phil Spector gem ever generated! It is Please Be My Boyfriend by The Crystals. This tune is actually the last part of a 10 minute demo track which exists. Little is known about this track. This number became widely known by a photograph of a studio track sheet in "The Girl Groups" written by Alan Betrock, but the details of the number are unknown almost at all, probably because it is an incomplete number rather than because it is unpublished one. Spector had little interest in The Crystals at the time, since he was focusing on his other groups The Ronettes and The Righteous Brothers. What most likely happened is that The Crystals were frustrated that they were getting no more sessions, so he made this session to pacify them. He never intended this for release. According to the infamous track sheet, this recording was made in 1964. The tone of the recording leads most to believe it is a Jeff Barry and Ellie Greenwich composition.
