A gentle walk up one of Lakeland's lesser but, nonetheless, beautiful fells close to Windermere and Hawkshead.

This fell is included in Alfred Wainwright's book, 'The Outlying Fells of Lakeland' and takes the walker through beautiful woodland, along a fine escarpment (ridge) overlooking Lake Windermere, and to secluded and delightful tarns.
