In this video, I undertake the challenge of restoring a heavily damaged, 100-year-old Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) matchbox. What started as a pile of silver fragments and a broken agate stone became a journey of precision and craftsmanship.

The centerpiece of this restoration is the creation and integration of a new sterling silver ornament, carefully designed to match the original Art Nouveau aesthetics. From repairing the structural integrity to the final high-gloss polish, every step was a tribute to the silversmiths of the early 20th century.
