1. The following nouns are always plural.
People, Police, Poultry, Peasantry, Gentry, Clergy, Vermin, Cattle, Electorate, etc.

To: Points to the end location or target. Shows who or what will receive something. Indicates movement or direction toward something.
Example:
Turn to the left.
