God makes everything simple for us, yet we complicate it.• Matthew 11:28–30
We complicate things with the psychological training of what the world has taught us:• If it doesn’t make sense or add up, then it is not right.• You can’t trust what you can’t see.• Go with your feelings.• To succeed, you must always have a plan.

To apply this to the principles of God, He wants us to debunk the wisdom of the world and sit in His wisdom.• 1 Corinthians 3:19• Proverbs 14:12• 1 Corinthians 1:20• 1 Corinthians 2:5

Let’s treat the Bible as our life source, because it truly is!
It is the best and most priceless therapy in the physical realm that we can run to, which God has given us. SIMPLE!!We can gather gems from throughout the Bible to apply to everyday life.

1. He knew us before we were formed and knows our beginning to our end.o Jeremiah 1:5

2. He gives us enough for each day.o Matthew 6:34o Lamentations 3:22–23o Isaiah 40:29–31o Matthew 6:11

3. In our weakness, we are made strong.o 2 Corinthians 12:7–10

The world trains us to think it’s not simple to trust the God who made heaven and earth—our Father and Creator who covers us. Thus, we become anxious and fearful when we fall into that mindset.

But the Word of the Lord says:
4. Do not be anxious.o Philippians 4:6–7
 
5. Do not be afraid.o John 14:27o Joshua 1:9

He knows us well and how we let our thoughts and emotions take control—giving them our trust. Thus, God tells us:

6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.o Proverbs 3:5–8o Isaiah 26:3–4o Jeremiah 17:7

7. For He knows the plans He has for us.o Jeremiah 29:11

8. His thoughts are not our thoughts, and neither are His ways ours.o Isaiah 55:8–9

Will it be easy? No. We will go through afflictions, but:
9. He will never leave us nor forsake us.o Deuteronomy 31:6
 
10. We can do all things through Him—every season—with Him strengthening us.o Philippians 4:13

The Way to See It SIMPLE
• Full obedience to God• Surrender and giving up control• Listening and following His commands• Being an image of Christ’s love

When we love like Christ, we obey and let go of offense. That’s surrender. That’s peace. That’s trusting God.
That’s letting go of what the world has trained us to believe or feel and SIMPLY following the instructions of God without fighting them.
