I went with some friends to Aiguille du Midi and snowboarded thru Vallée Blanche.. a fantastic trip - Recommend it!
Notes:
Only use certified guides
Be careful on the "rim" (on the top)
The lifts/chairs on the bottom weren't working, so I had to walk up 580 stairs for 20 min and 40 minutes walk up the snow. (this was the hardest part)
