These turbulent times come with the backdrop of recent NATO membership for Finland and Sweden, political turbulence in East-Central European countries, and the overarching concerns over Russia’s three-year invasion of Ukraine and concerns over potential Russian expansion into Russian exclaves in Eastern Europe (e.g., parts of Lithuania, Belarus, Moldova, etc.).
