Описание: Loyal Sons Of Benagh Flute Band from Newry celebrating their 50th Anniversary year with a Battlefield Pilgrimage to France & Flanders. As part of that pilgrimage the band had the privilege to take part in the 'Act Of Remembrance' held daily by the Last Post Association at the Menin Gate in Ypres. The footage shows the band playing a few tunes in the square in Ypres before marching up the Menin Road (as the troops would have done during the First World War) to the Menin Gate & taking part in the service before parading back to the square again. This was on Thursday 06/06/2024.
