The Flying W Ranch is a historic 1,450-acre working cattle ranch on the west side of Colorado Springs. The land was originally the Douglas homestead and was purchased by Don Wilson in 1947. The ranch has been family-owned and operated ever since.
The Flying W Ranch offers a unique blend of history and adventure. The gates open at 5:00 p.m., and guests can explore the scenic ranch before the chuckwagon supper and dinner show.
The pre-dinner activities include a wagon ride, a train, ax throwing, archery, visiting with ranch animals, a Native American dance exhibition, and much more.
At 6:30 p.m.,, the dinner bell rings, and it is time to eat. The dinner is a hearty meal featuring smoked brisket, chicken, and other Western favorites, followed by a performance from the Flying W Wranglers.
The Flying W Wranglers are the second-oldest Western performance band in the world. It’s a dinner show you don’t want to miss!
