I took a bus to Belgium with one clear mission: to finally enjoy a gluten-free Belgian waffle in Brussels 🧇

My journey began at Cologne Airport, traveling by bus and train to Brussels Gare du Nord.
From there, I walked to the Cardo Hotel (the former Sheraton Brussels), before strolling along Rue des Commerçants toward the Christmas market Plaisirs d’Hiver at the Fish Market.
Along the way, I visited the Novotel Brussels Centre Tour Noire and continued on to the lively Wolf Food Market.

After admiring the Nativity scene at Grand Place and the world-famous Manneken Pis, I ended my walk with an elevator ride up to the impressive Palais de Justice, offering a powerful view over the city. As night fell, I made my way to Brussels Midi (Gare du Zuid) and took the bus back to Cologne.
