Jägerndorfer produces some of the finest HO & N scale model trains on the market today. Some of their best models are the exquisite advertising "Taurus" locomotives. The use of locomotives as moving billboards has recently become quite popular in Europe. Many products, special events and historical anniversaries are advertised on locomotives. The use of locomotives gives the advertisement great exposure due to their extensive travel all over one or several countries. Some of the artwork created for these ads is stunningly beautiful, drawing even further attention to whatever is being displayed.

Advertising locomotives are becoming a great source of revenue for the model railroad industry and Jägerndorfer is among the best producers of these locomotives with some of the most exquisite, colorful and best running model trains on the market. Here at Reynaulds, we recently received a shipment of wonderful advertising locomotives and wanted to share them with our new and loyal viewers. The first model we feature is the Wagner Composer locomotive. The Wagner locomotive represents the 200 year anniversary of the famous composer Wagner with a wonderfully vibrant portrait displayed on the side. Model comes with a DCC Sound decoder that has the universal sounds of a Taurus loco and in addition it plays Wagner's famous song "Flight of the Valkyries". The second model in our presentation is the attractive Franz Liszt composer locomotive. The Franz Liszt locomotive represents the 200 year anniversary of the famous composer Franz Liszt with a very colorful and exquisite portrait display. Model comes with a DCC Sound decoder that has the universal sounds of a "Taurus" locomotive and model also plays the 2nd Hungarian Rhapsody! The 3rd locomotive we show is the empress Sisi locomotive. The Sisi locomotive celebrates the famous Austrian Empress who is still adorn by Austrians today. The Sisi Taurus Locomotive represents the 175 year anniversary of Empress Sisi with a brilliantly designed display of her portrait and has the universal features and sounds of a taurus loco.

The German, Austrian and Hungarian Railroads commonly use a modern Taurus locomotive for all their advertising contracts, since Jägerndorfer produces the best model of a Taurus locomotive it is inevitable that they would create advertising model train locomotives. The Jägerndorfer Taurus is a very impressive model with an exceptional running performance. They are equipped with sprung pantographs, 5 pole motor with flywheel and white and red LED headlights that coordinate with the direction of travel.

Jägerndorfer offers several HO versions of these advertising models in both 2-Rail DC and 3-Rail AC with and without sound, there are even a few available in N-scale
