I have been in Freiburg festival many times, as a participant and as a teacher. This year we celebrated its 20th anniversary"

"The Contact Festival Freiburg is an annual event, which supports and facilitates an international exchange of the dance form Contact Improvisation. It offers a group of 200 participants the opportunity to dive into an intensive week long process to explore the dance form. During the days in the classes and workshops, as well as in the evenings in the less structured jams, you’ll be able to discover new things, and digest the experience.
With over 20 international teachers, supported by many former and intended teachers, you will find a lively exchange between the lecturers and learners.
Every year the contactfestival Freiburg supports the production of a video inside the Festival.We invite a different video artist for each edition, to whom we give a total freedom, regarding themes, interest, editing, etc.We offer this way the event as a frame for the video artists, to communicate through their film, what was calling their attention during the festival, and how they would like to share about it with others."
