In this video, I read Part 1 (Chapters 1–14) from The Gospel According to Saint Matthew.
These chapters proclaim the beginning of the Gospel: the genealogy and birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, His baptism, temptation, the calling of the disciples, the Sermon on the Mount, parables of the Kingdom, miracles of healing, and Christ’s authority revealed through word and deed. Saint Matthew presents Christ as the fulfilment of the Law and the Prophets, calling all to repentance, faith, and life in the Kingdom of Heaven.
