Cenotaph - Life Immortal [Full Demo - 1995]

Описание: Cenotaph are a Turkish brutal death metal band, formed in 1993. They have now been active for 28 years and have under their belt 2 demos, 1 split, 3 compilations and 6 full lenghts. "Life Immortal" was the demo that started it all.
15 minutes of brutal death metal, leaning more towards the late 90's style due to its technical style. The murkyness of the recording does wonders for the riffs, making them chunkier and meatier. The bass is also very present and there are some bits here and there for it to pop out a little. Drums are tight and go hand in hand with the riffs, perfectly in synch. Finally the vocals sound like what you would hear in a very windy day. He doesnt utter words, just breathes loudly into the mic. There is also some interesting experimentation here and there, some unique chord riffs are to be found.
