Themes of this semester are "Hypermodernism" and "gestern,heute,morgen" (engl. "yesterday, today, tomorrow") and they reflect the current Zeitgeist of society and fashion. Futuristic designs, innovative textiles, vibrant colour palettes, fabric combinations full of suspense and a new interpretation of the gender role are essential to the design pieces.
The elevator as a symbol for different levels in fashion, life and future, acts as a joining medium between the diverse designs in the video. Likewise the elevator that runs constantly up and down, the designs are full of movement, flow and drive. There are short pauses but there is never a deadlock.
