October 13th, 2024, and the #UnionPacific Big Boy #4014 is running from Fort Worth, Texas. to McAlester OK. The #BigBoy has been totally restored and is a beauty to behold! The Big Boy is in the process of touring the Eastern portion of the UP system. In this video it is running beside Hwy 377 and Hwy 69/75 in Oklahoma until it gets to McAlester OK.
Our plan was to follow it from Ft Worth to McAlester. Starting at 8:00 am.. for stops at Piolot Point and Durant.
