Capetonians and residents of various parts of the Western Cape have been urged to take the necessary precautions amid a heatwave forecast for this week. The mercury is expected to hover between thirty to forty degrees in parts. Residents and visitors are are being urged avoid being outdoors unnecessarily, particularly during peak sunshine. The City's Disaster Risk Management also says the higher temperatures pose a risk of wildfires. Our Senior Reporter Vanessa Poonah and video journalist, Clinton Cerf have more.
