“Hijazz” music project presents a special journey that combines the classical Arabic “Tarab” singing style with Jazz, interweaving the beautiful formation of bossa nova with jazz and swing among other musical styles.

AJF returns for the 9th Edition in 2020, against all odds, with a special Local Edition of 20 shows & 77 artists from Jordan! AJF & its side event Musiqa 3al Daraj expand the genre beyond Jazz.
AJF is produced by OrangeRed | Musiqa 3al Daraj is co-produced by the Goethe-Institut Jordan. AJF 2020 is funded by the European Union, EUNIC, Institut Francais.
