A tour in the X Trapolis EMU - Metro Trains Melbourne

Описание: To kick off 2022, my I will be giving you a tour of Melbourne’s good old X Trapolis 2.0.

Built in 2002 for the first version, then refurbished in 2015 for the second version, has been most reliable to commuters since 2016. With 75 extra sets built in 2018 for the second version to replace the Hitachi EMU and the Comeng Chopper sets, which retired in 2017.

This train type services a limited number of lines, like, Belgrave, Lilydale, Alamein, Glen Waverley, Werribee, Williamstown and Frankston lines.

In 2024, 25 extra sets will come to join the Comeng EMU replacement along with 65 New High Capacity sets which have already been built. And every X Trapolis set is most presumably going to have it’s third refurbishment in 2025.

Here are some notes for you to look at

1: This video was taken on Christmas Day 2021.

5: After my next video, there will not be any more upcoming videos until February 12th due to a few problems.
6: Please be aware that another accusation has been made. This time, this time , it is my fault. I thought that It was the second version of the X Trapolis hence its new update In 2015/2016. Since then, it has featured new updates to the version.
It actually turns out that the second version Is not yet In the network, but, It will come out In 2024. I really apologise for my misunderstanding.
