Dense_NN: Up to 6x faster through parallelization
The lean and effective C++ program for training dense deep learning structures is now significantly more effective because training has been parallelized.
This means that training speed is now 2 to 6 times faster, depending on the problem and based on conservative estimates and is demonstrated on a Windows 11 system. As already described, Dense_NN can also be installed on Linux systems. This is also demonstrated in this video using a Raspberry Pi5 as an example. However, the Pi5 has some weaknesses that do not occur with “larger” systems.
