Описание: One day, a dear friend approached me proposing a short-film idea: a young woman on the verge of a crisis starts to throw up paint in her bathroom. She told me she wanted many long silences and intimate moments, all building towards an explosive climax when the young woman vomits paint. The rest was up to me. I had a collection of piano sketches I was very attached to, so I decided to weave them together into one piece. I wrote my ideas onto manuscript paper, failing many times yet eventually arriving at something Annsley and I both loved. I titled the piece after a Polish saying: “Kwiecień Plecień, bo przeplata, trochę zimy, trochę lata” which in english would translate to “The concoction of April, it braids together a bit of winter, and a bit of summer”. It is the closest Polish equivalent to “April showers bring May flowers” (However I find the Polish saying much more appealing)
