A royal glow illuminated the ancient town of Kuta as Her Majesty, Olori Ashley Afolashade Adeyeye-Ogunwusi, the elegant wife of the Ooni of Ife, Arole Oduduwa Olofin Adimula, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR, arrived in grand style at the 35th Kuta Day Celebration.
Hosted by HRM Oba (Dr) Hammed Adekunle Oyelude Makama, CON, Tegbosun III, the Olowu of Owu Kuta Kingdom, the colourful ceremony at the Olowu Palace, Kuta, drew distinguished traditional rulers, dignitaries, and cultural enthusiasts from across Yorubaland and beyond.
Her Majesty’s presence added royal splendour to the occasion, symbolizing unity among Yoruba monarchs and reaffirming the enduring bond between Ile-Ife, the cradle of Yoruba civilization, and the noble Owu Kuta Kingdom.
