On August 20, 2025, the Many Shades of ALS Team led this webinar where we:
– Provided clinical research education material (types of clinical trials, key definitions, sources of information regarding available trials, etc).
– Discussed the importance of participating in investigational and observational studies
– Highlighted the need of equity in clinical research will be spotlighted, and the benefits of diversity in clinical research
– Introduced and explain how individuals can take part in natural history studies, even if they don’t qualify for a clinical trial
