Seth Ramlal (Om Prakash) is a rich man whose family life is thrown into turmoil when an illegitimate daughter comes forward to claim her rights.
The film's plot thickens due to a case of mistaken identity involving the two female leads, Geeta (Bharathi) and Roopa (Farida Jalal), who essentially switch places or are mistaken for one another in the eyes of the family.
