More than 600 years ago, Kamphaeng Phet was an important fortified city of the Sukhothai Kingdom. Kings, soldiers, monks, and traders once walked through these same temple grounds. The Makha Bucha festival recreates that history through storytelling, traditional performances, music, and stunning lighting effects projected onto the ancient ruins.

The event brings the past back to life with:
