“In my life and in my writing, the most important thing is to be as genuine and honest as possible,” he observes. “It’s what I was shooting for on this EP. I’ve had a bit of turbulence over the last few years. Due to family circumstances and other personal matters, I wasn’t even able to pursue music. Nevertheless, it gave me a lot of things to write about, and the songs flowed out.” “The process behind this record was hard, but it was really soothing,” he concludes. “It’s traumatically dark, but there’s also a certain lightness to accepting that things are out of your control. I’m trying to create a space for reflection. I just hope you know I was being as honest as I could be.”
