The Phelps Dodge duplexers have been rebuilt and controller interface built. This shows testing the SINAD with the transmitter on through the duplexer.
We're seeing -123 dBm for 12dB SINAD through the duplexer with no desense evident with the transmitter at 125W. -130 dB is the noise floor and a 12dB SINAD signal is 4.2 dB above the noise. This makes a perfect receiver -126 dBm, but with the extra 1.5dB from the preselector and 1 dB from the duplexer we are at -123.3 dB for 12 dB SINAD. Since this agrees with the measurement (-123 dB) we can see our system is working to the maximum theoretical sensitivity possible.
