This tape was found half-buried under gravel near an old, rusted-out train switch-yard.
The Mellow Cowboy isn't alone on this recording. You can hear a small crew of drifters laying low in the dark, waiting for the trains to start running. The music tells the story of the escape—listen to the dramatic, heavy pauses where the playing stops completely. It's as if they are holding their breath, listening for the rail-yard guards.
