The 2019 Kia Sportage is available in both 1.6l and 2.0l petrol and diesel engines, and comes in six different trims: the ISG 1, 2, 3, 4, GT and GT S Line.

The petrol engines come in two forms: the GDI and T-GDI, which output an impressive 130bhp and 174bhp respectively. As Kia suspects that most buyers will want a diesel engine, they will be pleased to know that Kia has extended it’s mild-hybrid technology to both it’s 1.6l and 2.0l engines. A 48-volt battery extends the engine’s off time and seamlessly blends the ‘motor’ and ‘generator’ modes.

The fourth-generation Kia Sportage features a redesigned front bumper, LED headlights and can get 16”, 17” and 19” alloys wheels. The car’s infotainment system has been overhauled and depending on the trim, can get a 7” or a 8” display – both with DAB radio.
