🚨 Rejected at Judicial Review? Is your case over? Not always — but here’s the real truth 👇
🔹 If the Federal Court (Judicial Review) rejects your refugee case, there’s no automatic next step — your legal process is done unless you apply again under new grounds.
🔸 But if you file for:
✅ PRA (Pre-Removal Risk Assessment) — CBSA usually pauses your removal while it's pending.
✅ H&C (Humanitarian & Compassionate grounds) — You can request IRCC for a work permit or to extend your stay.
⚠️ However, work permits after Judicial Review are not automatic. IRCC decides on a case-by-case basis. Some people get it — many don’t.
📍Even if you apply for PRA or H&C, you’re technically out of status until IRCC or CBSA makes a decision — but as long as something is pending, you can still try requesting a work permit.
🎯 Bottom line: It’s not over — but it’s a tough and uncertain road. Know your options. Act fast.
⸻
📣 Tip: Don’t do it alone. Refugee claims are complex. One mistake = rejection.
