Double the Joy: My #1 Filler Item for the OCC Processing Center

Описание: Do you send filler for Operation Christmas Child? This is an optional way to help shoeboxes beyond your own, by sending items to the processing center that can be helpful in shoeboxes that need some extra love. These filler items are perfect for helping to FILL UP shoeboxes that come through with a lot of empty space, with no school supplies, or that have an item removed because it’s on the do-not-send list (such as liquids, food, and war-related items).

I think these 2-in-1 water bottles are my favorite filler items to send to the OCC processing centers (or even to donate to local packing party events) as they combine two really lovely gifts into one - a water bottle and school supplies! The container is a gift in itself and you can also include other little toys, socks, jewelry, and fun items to fill up the water bottle as well.

Also, don’t forget that National Collection Week is November 18-25 this year! You can drop off your full, fun, and personalized shoeboxes at a drop off location near you. You can box up any extra filler items in a regular cardboard box (NOT a shoebox) and label it FILLER. This can also be dropped off at a local drop off site during collection week.
