We could tell early on that our Extended Play collaboration with Niall Horan was going to be a fun trip. The singer and his team were full of engaging ideas regarding how best to give a personalized spin on some of the strong new songs from the singer’s ‘The Show.’ All we had to do was execute. So it was off to SoCal, where Niall wrote most of the tunes, setting up shop in the rolling hills that matched the relaxed vibe of Horan’s latest work. The conceit of Extended Play is that it'll also provide viewers with exclusive interviews with the artist. Here, Niall's chat with collaborators Joel Little and John Ryan delivered insights about 'The Show,' from the essential song craft of “Meltdown” to the voice note that led to “You Could Start A Cult." From the music to the conversation to the setting, there's a lot good stuff here for any Niall fan.
