Recently, two passenger electric multiple units (EMUs) and two electric locomotives built for Malaysia’s East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project were officially rolled out.
The power-concentrated passenger EMUs are designed for efficient and comfortable passenger service, while the electric locomotives are engineered for freight operations with strong traction performance. These trains will serve as key rolling stock for the future operation of the ECRL.
