EB Games Closing Down Sale - Long Lines, Discount Stock, Wide Selection, and Angry Consumers

Описание: EB Games NZ announced a tragic closing down sale, all 38 stores across the country will have their doors closed by January 31st 2026. A true end of an era, the brand of EB Games has been a staple part of my life for years.

This is a sad day for all those employees affected by this, truly some of the best store workers I've had the pleasure of dealing business with.

A 50% storewide sale was announced as a result of this, and the crowds went wild. Lines forming all around the malls looking for deals and various goods, though some suspect foul play amongst the community filled with scalpers and resellers.

Angry crowds expressed their displeasure online after noticing changes made to the sales, in which consoles specifically were being withheld from the deals.

With a community online exclaiming there was "Nothing left!", I was curious to see what deals I could find after waiting a few days. I travelled across the city too all 4 remaining stores and this is what I found.
