ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ କହିବା ଅନୁଯାୟୀ, ସରକାରଙ୍କ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ହେଉଛି ‘ଜିରୋ ମର୍ଟାଲିଟି’ ବା ଶୂନ୍ୟ ମୃତ୍ୟୁହାର। ରୋଗୀଙ୍କୁ ‘ଗୋଲଡେନ୍ ଆୱାର’ (Golden Hour) ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଡାକ୍ତରଖାନାରେ ପହଞ୍ଚାଇବା ପାଇଁ ବ୍ଲକଠାରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି ଜିଲ୍ଲା ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଚିକିତ୍ସାଳୟ ଏବଂ କଟକ ବଡ଼ ମେଡିକାଲ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଏକ ସୁଦୃଢ଼ ନେଟୱାର୍କ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରାଯାଉଛି। ଏହାଛଡ଼ା ‘ବିମାନ ଯୋଜନା’ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ରାଉରକେଲା ଓ ଜୟପୁର ପରି ଏୟାରଷ୍ଟ୍ରିପ୍‌ରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆମ୍ବୁଲାନ୍ସ ସେବା ଉପଲବ୍ଧ କରାଯିବ।

In a significant boost to Odisha's healthcare sector, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today flagged off 250 new '108' ambulances at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar. This initiative marks the second phase of the state's plan to modernize its emergency medical fleet. Funded entirely by the state government with an investment of ₹111 crore, these advanced vehicles are designed to ensure timely medical intervention, especially for people living in remote and underserved areas.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the primary goal is to achieve 'Zero Mortality' by ensuring patients reach hospitals within the critical 'Golden Hour'. The government is establishing a seamless medical chain from blocks to District Headquarters Hospitals and finally to SCB Medical College in Cuttack. Furthermore, under the 'Biman Yojana', ambulance services will be extended to airstrips like Rourkela and Jeypore to facilitate rapid air-evacuation during emergencies.
