Cleaning the S14 SR20DET 5-Speed transmission for the first time since I bought it. It had a lot of aluminum corrosion spots [white powder spots], and was full of oily dirt and grime.
It only took about 30 minutes from start to finish to get these results. I live in an apartment and don't have a downstairs water spigot. You could easily do this in 15 minutes if you don't have to drive to a carwash, and have all the supplies ready to go.
