"Both the public and we, at the Environmental Monitoring Centre, feel like the PM10 index is no longer enough to reflect the current air quality status with in an objective and comprehensive way. That's the reason why we need to start monitoring finer particles of the PM2.5 size."

"The pollution has a strong relation with the economic development of the society. We know we have a fast developing speed. In the past 30 years we advanced more than other countries did over a 100-year period. If 100 years of development cause a lot of environmental degradation, here those have happened all in the last 30 years. So the pollution has burst."

"I can say that in 2011 we experienced a 400 per cent increase in the sales volume only in the Shanghai market. This is a considerable achievement. Therefore, we are very optimistic towards this market and this industry. Because everybody is paying increasing attention to the environment, but also to its own health. So we believe that the market for air purifiers will become bigger and better."
