When you gain God and lose people, it's a great gain indeed. Don't lose God trying to gain people. Don't be troubled when they lie or bear false witness against you; it's a stepping stone for you. rejoice!
Your greateness isn't complete in this Kingdom until you're tried. Your reward is right in your persecutions.

Matthew 5v11-12,
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Save yourself the stress of trying to please everyone. You're only called to please "THE GREAT I AM" and nobody else. Don't hurt trying to heal. Don't hate trying to Love. just let them go if it'll cost your Peace. Jesus won't be mad at you for letting them go. This is the true gospel!
